Ours started 3 days ago from girls we got in late May. We have had one a day. Not sure which of the 3 is laying.
I have read that first eggs are often smaller and lighter in color, at least brown ones. The first two eggs are close in size, around a small, and color which is light. Today's is close to a market large and the color is also a typical light brown. The laying time is also different. The other two were found before 11am while today's was found around 4pm. Does this mean we have two new layers?
I know y'all are way past this
...but we got our first two eggs this weekend and I am thrilled!!!!!!! I think it is one of the dorkings as they were spaced friday and sunday and white.
who knew you could get this excited about an egg!!!
